ASASKUKUH.com, a brand under Uni Excel Engineering Sdn Bhd (UEE) registered with both CIDB and MOF, has extensive experience in providing piling services for small and medium-sized projects.
While the company specializes in injection piling, its expertise also extends to monopole foundations, factory underpinning, advertisement foundations, telecommunication towers, as well as bungalow and residential projects.
Initially focused on hydraulic injection piling systems, ASAS KUKUH has, over the years, expanded its scope to take on new challenges, including sub-structure works, following its continued success in foundation projects across Malaysia.
The CIVIL ENGINEERING DIVISION started to focus on the completion of various sub structure works like pile cap, stump and tie beams. Currently, the division continue to complete full structure works like beam and slab, swimming pool, basement and telecommunication tower.
The PILING DIVISION is the core business of the group where it contributes 70% of the company revenue. Asas Kukuh is well recognized as a small and medium piling contractor’s company in Klang Valley and has completed millions worth of projects. Asas Kukuh is also being recognized and registered with various reputable clients.
The SUPPLY ENGINEERING DIVISION is focusing on various sectors: i) engineering equipment ii) rental machinery iii) heavy construction machines such as excavator, crane, lorry crane, low loader and etc.
If installation is to be carried out using pile-hammer, then the following factors should be taken in to consideration:
A bored pile is a cast-in-place concrete pile, meaning the pile is cast on the construction site. This differs from other concrete pile foundations, like spun pile and reinforced concrete square pile foundations, which use precast concrete piles.
Bored Pile Works commonly use in:
Micropiles are deep foundation used when very limited space or headroom is available for execution with conventional pile rigs. Besides, micro pile bearing is a small working load and can perform on hard or shallow rock formation, where precast pile is unsuitable. Micro pile machine also can be modified for underpinning works where limited head room encounters.
In a typical installation process, a high-strength steel casing is drilled down to the design depth. A reinforcing bar is inserted and high-strength cement grout pumped into the casing. The casing may extend along the full length of the pile, or it may only extend along part of the length of the pile, with the reinforcing bar extending along the full length.
Typically, the size of micro pile ranging from 200mm diameter to 450mm diameter with capabilities to drill until 40m. Method of drilling including using drag bit, down the hole hammer or ODEX system either by wash boring or air flush depending on sub soil condition.
Also known as Pile Driving Analyzer, dynamic load can be tested by using a PDA equipment which is a high-strain non-destructive load test method.
The test can be performed during or after pile installation using conventional pile driving equipment.
Velocity and force signals obtained from accelerometers and strain transducers attached to the pile during driving is then calculated by PDA equipment to show the pile capacity.
Maintain load test, or also known as pile static load test is usually done to:
a) 40 Ton – AKV401
b) 60 Ton – AKV601 & AKV692
c) 80 Ton – AKV801 & AKV802
d) 120 Ton – AKV/ZYC 120B-B
e) 180 Ton – AKV/ZYC 180
